The Fit Labs Biggest Loser Contest – Safety and How to Compete

It’s time to lose some weight before the holidays!  This 30  day Biggest Loser Challenge is FUN and FREE!  But first let’s talk SAFETY!

The Fit Lab is producing the FASTEST results applying advanced neuroscience principles to fitness training and nutrition to help you find your unique genetic potential.

We cover all the basis in order to achieve optimal health:

  • Exercise – We have a very specific “9 Step Progression” which includes Z-Health’s DJM (dynamic joint mobility), visual and vestibular systems training, resistance training, plyometrics, endurance, strength, speed, and much more built into all levels of our training.

Safety First!

Avoid over-doing it!  The goal of this contest is to help you become more health-oriented.   Losing excess fat is great and part of becoming healthier, but there is much more to it…  We’re here to help by teaching you how to limit the risk of your training and nutrition program, so that you’re avoiding unwanted symptoms of being overstressed.  Be aware of your body’s stress level!  If sleep begins to deteriorate, energy levels drop, you get sick, you develop pain — you may be over doing it.  Change is stressful so take your time or REQUEST A FREE CONSULT with us to make sure you’re not lining yourself up for injury.

Follow the Elements of Efficiency

  1. Perfect Form – make the movement efficient.
  2. Dynamic Postural Alignment – keep your spine aligned during movement
  3. Synchronized Respiration – don’t hold your breath!  Breath with the reps.
  4. Balance Between Relaxation and Tension – maintain your composure while exercising as creating excess tension can cause weakness, tension, and pain.

Here is how the contest works

Weekly Challenges will be held each week starting every Saturday and scores must be submitted by Friday.  Join our CLOSED FACEBOOK GROUP to engage in the fun! Click here to join!

The FaceBook Group is “closed” meaning private!  This means a couple things:

  1. What you post in the closed group will only be seen by people in the closed group
  2. No one in the closed group can see what you post on your own wall unless they are on your friend’s list.

Submit Points Weekly

The Challenges will be described in detail in a group email that will be sent out each Saturday.  Every week you’ll email your captain with the points you’ve accrued for the week.  Submit the forms to your TEAM CAPTAIN by Friday and team captains must add up the total points for the team and submit the team totals.

Point System

Weekly Points – every week you can accrue these points.  These are the maximum amount of points you can get each week from these tasks:

  • 3 Workout/week minimum – 1pt
  • Share an informative article – 1pt
  • Share a Recipe – 1pt
  • Journal 3 days of Diet and Exercise & post – 4pts
  • Weekly Winner – 5pts

1-Time Bonuses

  • Online Workshop/Vid – 2pts
  • Free Workshops – 3pts
  • Fit Labs Events – 5pts
  • Get a Consult – 5pts
  • Upgrade you membership – 5 pt
  • TFL 101 (21 Day) – 10pts
  • Overall Weight Loss -10pts

***Please use the honor code when filling out your points each week.

Captain Responsibilities:

  • Make sure every team member enters their info into registration page.
  • Lead by example, motivate your team, and keep the team together.
  • Submit your team points no later than Saturday night at midnight.

Competition ends on the day of our Holiday Party, Dec 14!  The team that has the highest average of points PER TEAM MEMBER wins! (total points divided by number of people if the teams become uneven)
